Google's Hummingbird Update: The Death Of SEO?

If you are in the realms of blogging or are a webmaster or an affiliate marketer, its probably no longer news that Google has done it again.

Incase you are wondering what Google has done, well this is it. In September 2013, Google marked its 15th anniversary. To mark that anniversary

Google launched the Hummingbird. (Actually they had already launched it a month earlier prior to that time.) The Hummingbird succeeds the

Caffeine. Incase you are still wondering what I'm talking about, those names refer to the search algorithms Google employs in delivering query

results.

So what does that portend for the blogging industry? Well to be straight to the point, it changes the face of SEO. SEO is now much more than

just chogging in high ranking keywords and some back linking stunts to get ranked in the first page. All that stuff now belongs to old school.

Now is that good or bad? I'll love to hear from those who are learned enough in the house.
