It was a Wale weekend.
If you missed, Wale was in Lagos for four days for the Johnnie Walker’s Stepup2vip event but wasn’t just a gig for him as he went on to make new music with our own Nigerian acts at Don Jazzy’s studio, he went clubbing and dj-ed a set for 30 minutes, made himself available for series of interviews and on the night of the Stepup2vip event, he performed with female Nigerian act, Seyi Shay.
The US born rapper thrilled guests at the ‘StepUp2Vip’ by Johnnie Walker event which held at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos and one of the highlight was definitely when he brought out Nigerian RnB/Pop singer Seyi Shay to join him on his platinum selling single ‘Bad‘ which was originally performed by US singer, Tiara Thomas. Fans cheered as Seyi blended well into the role and delivered her vocals to taste.
