African musical influences  i.e R’n’b, Pop, Hip Hop and soul and the sounds of Fela Kuti, Wasiu as well as the modern day afrobeats front runner Wizkid.

With a new deal with one of the biggest names in the industry in the works, Mrs Melodey will be relocating to Nigeria to focus primarily on the music. She's definitely one to watch out for.
